NEW ORLEANS — A trio of Texas State women's basketball student-athletes were earned 2021-22 Sun Belt Conference Women's Basketball Preseason awards, the league announced Thursday morning.
Bobcat senior forward Da'Nasia Hood was selected to the league's preseason all-conference first team. Fellow senior Kennedy Taylor and redshirt-junior forward Lauryn Thompson were both appointed to the third team.
"I absolutely appreciate that Da'Nasia, Kennedy and Lauryn are being recognized for all the hard work they put in last season," said Texas State women's basketball head coach Zenarae Antoine.
