SAN DIEGO, Calif. — The Texas State women's basketball program closed out the non-conference portion of its 2021-22 regular season schedule with a trip to San Diego, where the Toreros earned a 78-58 win.
A pair of seniors led the Bobcats (5-7) in scoring as guard Kennedy Taylor netted 13 points — with six coming from behind the 3-point arc — and forward Jaeda Reed going for 13, too, on 60-percent shooting. Jo'Nah Johnson, an offseason graduate transfer from Texas Tech, went for double digits (10) for the third time in her Texas State career.
