FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – On the final day of the NCAA West Prelims, Texas State's women's 4x100m relay consisting of, Kaylee Lewis, Ma'Khi Falkquay, Kerris Roberts and Taejha Badal, qualified for the 2024 NCAA National Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
Lewis, Falkquay, Roberts and Badal made history on day four, when they became the first women's 4x100m team to qualify for the National Championships in Texas State history.
During the event, they recorded a time of 43.85 and broke the previous school record of 44.09 that was set last season.
