Texas State's Men's 4x100 Relay Records Best Nationals Finish in School History

EUGENE, Ore – On day one of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, the Texas State men's 4x100 relay team consisting of and ran 39.51, which is the fourth-best time in school history.

The relay team placed 15th overall, which marked the best finish in the National Championship by a men's 4x100 relay team in school history. They narrowly missed qualifying for the finals on Friday by just three spots.

This is the second time this season the relay team of Akpeki, Harrold, Collins and Yancy have entered the Texas State record books, with the first time being their PR time of 39.
