LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Texas State rode a double-digit run during the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough as Little Rock's second-quarter was enough to propel the Trojans to a 62-51 win Friday night.
Avionne Alexander, who returned to action Friday night after missing Tuesday's game against the Trojans, made an immediate impact when she tied the game on a layup off a Krystan Vornes offensive foul less than a minute and a half into the game. Little Rock attempted to pull away early on the shoulders of Teal Battle, who scored eight of the team's first 10 points of the game.
