SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Texas State women's golf team will host one of the nation's premier college golf tournaments on Oct. 19-21 at the Kissing Tree Golf Course in San Marcos.
The 2019 Jim West Challenge features Texas State competing against teams from Florida State, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Texas Tech, TCU, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Miami-Florida, Missouri, Houston, Memphis, UTSA and UNLV. Six of the teams, headlined by No. 13-ranked Florida State, are receiving votes in the latest WGCA Poll. Three other squads are listed among the nation's top 50 schools by Jeff Sagarin's rankings.
