HANOVER, N.H. – Texas State notched its fourth consecutive win and first road victory of the season by defeating Dartmouth 61-51 at Leede Arena on Sunday afternoon. The Bobcats (6-2) used their size and athleticism to outscore the Big Green (5-4) 30-6 in the paint and limit Dartmouth to a season low six points in the fourth quarter.
The Bobcats continued their defensive trends and held the home squad to single digit scoring periods in the second (6) and the fourth. Texas State forced Dartmouth into a 15-for-46 (32.6%) shooting performance from the floor, its lowest amount of made field goals this season.
