SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State volleyball team swept ULM 3-0 (25-10, 25-23, 25-14) Sunday afternoon to earn no worse than a share of the 2018 Sun Belt Conference Regular Season Championship.
The Bobcats (22-5, 13-0 Sun Belt) won their 17th-straight match, which is the longest streak since 2000 and third-longest in school history. They secured their first regular-season title since 2011 when they won the Southland Conference Championship. This also marked their second Sun Belt title, with the other being the 2013 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship. The maroon and gold can lock up the title outright with one more victory or one more loss by Appalachian State in the final two weeks of the campaign.
