SAN MARCOS, Texas — On Wednesday, April 21, the Texas State softball program will look to leave Austin with the result it deserved back on Wednesday, Feb. 24 when then-No. 7 Texas edged out the Bobcats by a single run in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Wednesday's contest — which begins at 6 p.m. and can be viewed on the Longhorn Network — will mark the conclusion of a 16-day stretch which saw Texas State (27-8, 9-5) play Texas A&M, South Alabama, Baylor, Louisiana and Texas. The Bobcats will return to Sun Belt Conference action on Saturday, April 24 when they host Georgia Southern for a two-day, three-game series.
