SAN MARCOS, Texas — The Texas State women's basketball program came into the weekend wanting two wins and the Bobcats closed out the weekend with two wins following a 64-50 win over ULM on Saturday afternoon.
It marked the second win for Texas State (6-5, 3-3) over ULM (2-10, 0-6) in 24 hours to get back to .500 in Sun Belt Conference play after three weekends.
"Very similar to yesterday but for a different reason, I'm really proud of the team today largely because it was really important to have a scenario at home in preparation for the next game to be able to come in and be prepared to play and fight and battle all the way to the end," said Texas State women's basketball head coach Zenarae Antoine.
