SAN MARCOS, Texas — The Texas State softball team continued to ride the momentum of its early-season success as the Bobcats knocked off Ole Miss, 2-1, and Sam Houston State, 10-3, Saturday afternoon.
"In between games, we talked about not coming out and letting the lull of game two get us today, so we wanted to make sure we got two (wins) today because, I think, we all felt like we had an opportunity to get two (wins) yesterday and we didn't," said Texas State softball head coach Ricci Woodard. "We wanted to make sure that we went out and got two (wins) today and they did a good job of that.
