SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State softball team (6-2) hit five home runs and powered its way to a pair of victories on the third day of the Bobcat Classic. Texas State began the day with four home runs in a 12-0 victory over Saint Louis (2-5) and added another home run to break a 3-3 tie against Wichita State (5-4) in the second game. Meagan King (2-1) pitched a five-inning shutout in the first game, and freshman pitcher Tara McCann (3-1) won her third straight decision in the Bobcat Classic for the Bobcats in the second contest.
