SAN MARCOS, Texas- No. 9 Texas State (5-15, 2-8) will take on No. 8 Appalachian State (5-15, 3-7) in the first match of the 2022 Sun Belt Conference women's tennis championship in Peach Tree, Georgia on Thursday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m. (ET).
South Alabama, Georgia State and UTA share the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Women's Tennis Regular-Season Championship and have earned the top-three seeds in the event. After all three-team tiebreaking procedures were exhausted, the top-three seeds were determined in a draw by Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Keith Gill.
Earlier in the season, Texas State lost 4-0 for their third conference loss of the season at Appalachian State on March 20.
