SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State softball was selected to an NCAA Regional on Sunday night. The team was selected as the Sun Belt Conference's lone at-large bid and was selected to the Austin regional.
The Bobcats will be joined by Texas, Texas A&M and Seton Hall. This is the second time the Bobcats have seen the Aggies this season and will be the third face off with the Longhorns.
"This is a great regional for us," said head coach Ricci Woodard. "We get to go into somewhere we've already had success this season, somewhere we're familiar with, and just focus on playing our best softball.
