SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Texas State men's basketball team returned home with a dominating performance Wednesday night when the Bobcats defeated LeTourneau University 92-47 at Strahan Arena.
The contest was Texas State's first home game after the Bobcats opened the 2021-22 campaign with five games on the road.
"I was certainly proud of our guys," said Texas State head coach Terrence "TJ" Johnson. "It has been a long two weeks and a long time since we have played in front of friends and family. They were certainly excited."
Starting forward, Nate Martin scored six of his 10 points in the first eight minutes of the game to help the Bobcats come back and take a 16-15 lead.
