GULF SHORES, Ala. – Saving its best for last, the Texas State men's golf team had the best round of the day when the Bobcats fired a 5-under-par 283 and moved up six spots in the team standings at the Craft Farms Intercollegiate.
Texas State was the only team to shoot below par in the final round and finished the tournament tied with Ball State for fifth place with a 54-hole total of 882 on the par 72, 7,127-yard Cotton Creek Golf Course at the Craft Farms Golf Resort.
Junior Fabian Sunden led Texas State's rally when he became just the third player at the tournament to shoot five-under-par in a single round.
