SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State softball team (16-15) ran the winning-streak to six games with a 4-1 triumph over the Lamar Cardinals (15-19) at Bobcat Softball Stadium on Wednesday night.
KEY MOMENTS
- Sophomore infielder Tara Oltmann broke the scoring seal with an RBI shot to center. The hit scored junior outfielder Christiana McDowell easily from third base.
- Lamar knotted the game up at 1-1 in the top of the second inning on an BRI single from senior infielder Taylor Davis.
- The Bobcats loaded the bases in each of the final two offensive innings of the game.
