SAN MARCOS, Texas – Even though four players scored in double figures, the Texas State men's basketball team could not overcome Georgia State's timely three-point shooting as the Bobcats suffered a 73-69 loss against the Panthers in Strahan Arena Saturday afternoon.
Tre'Larenz Nottingham led the Bobcats with 17 points, while Jaylen Shead netted 13 and Eric Terry and Nijal Pearson added 10 points each for the Bobcats.
Texas State took an early lead in the opening half when a 10-0 run put the Bobcats up 14-7 with 14:19 left.
