CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College scored 10 points in the final three minutes of the game to escape with a 24-21 victory over Texas State in Alumni Stadium on Saturday night.
Brady McBride completed 18 of 26 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns, and Marcell Barbee caught three passes for 37 yards and two touchdowns.
Phil Jurkovec completed 26 of 38 passes for 210 yards and one TD to lead Boston College.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The game began with Texas State blocking a 47-yard field goal attempt after Boston College had driven down to the Bobcat 19-yard line.
