SAN MARCOS, Texas – The NCAA announced Wednesday that all 14 of Texas State's intercollegiate athletic programs scored above the national cutoff standard in the latest NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR). The figures released cover a four-year period extending from 2012-13 through 2015-16.
Seven of Texas State's teams posted multi-year rates above the national average of 981 with three teams earning public recognition awards last week with perfect scores of 1,000. Those three teams were the women's cross country, golf and tennis programs. In addition, softball had a multi-year score of 989 while men's golf and women's track and field had scores of 986.
