Texas State Athletics Present Oak Farm Dairy Academic Awards To Student Support Groups

SAN MARCOS - Texas State University's Athletics Department honored 80 cheerleaders, Strutters and trainers Tuesday night in an Oak Farms Dairy Academic Awards Ceremony that was held at the Texas State Baseball Ballpark before the Bobcats played No. 19-ranked Rice.

The Texas State students received recognition from Oak Farms for maintaining a 3.5-3.9 grade point average for either the spring or fall semester during the 2015 calendar year. Highlighting the event was the recognition of "Cream of the Crop" awards for those who maintained a 4.0 GPA in 2015.

The Strutters who were Oak Farm Award winners were: Megan Agol, Alley Anderson, Melanie Benavides, Sarah Bradley, Alyssa Burgess, Kyla Cullens, Makaela De La Garza, Kaitlin Evans, Megan Fitzgerald, Maddison Gray, Alexandria Hayes, Macy Lopez, Lauren MacNary, Darrian Mezulic, Megan Osburn, Kenna Priore, Ashley Redding, Miriam Sanders, Kiley Smith, Sarah Smith, Kaytlin Tabb, Lauren Vaughan, Julianne Way and Victoria Wilson.
