SAN MARCOS, Texas - Despite an abrupt end to spring sports competitions, Texas State's athletic teams broke 12 records, won a conference championship, earned five Sun Belt specialty awards, and contended for their second straight Vic Bubas Cup in 2019-20.
VOLLEYBALL ADVANCES TO NCAA TOURNAMENT
Texas State's volleyball team advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year after winning the Sun Belt Conference regular-season and tournament championships for the second consecutive year. Head coach Karen Chisum was named the Sun Belt's Coach of the Year before announcing her retirement.
