SAN MARCOS, Texas- The NCAA announced that 10 Texas State student-athletes have qualified to compete in the preliminary rounds of the 2021 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The West Preliminary is May 26-29 at Texas A&M's E.B. Cushing Stadium in College Station, Texas.
The top 12 individuals in each event will qualify to advance to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships June 9-12 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
Texas State has 10 individuals and a 4x400-meter relay team competing at the NCAA Outdoor West Preliminary. They include Bervensky Pierre, Jaylen Allen, Kobe Daniels, Pedro Osorio Lopez, Kwanele Mthembu, Kattiana Ealy-Pulido, Ariana Ealy-Pulido, Ronnie Briscoe, Brandon Busby, and Katherine Stuckly.
