NEW ORLEANS — The Texas State University women's basketball team will begin the Sun Belt Conference portion of its 2021-22 schedule on the road after the league announced the program's conference slate of games for the upcoming season on Wednesday afternoon.
"After an unprecedented time in the world of collegiate athletics, I look forward to playing Sun Belt basketball games in a more traditional format," said Bobcat women's basketball head coach Zenarae Antoine.
A season after being divided into East and West Divisions to limit travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sun Belt Conference has elected to return to a format used before the 2020-21 season.
