SAN MARCOS, Texas- The 2017 Texas State football schedule was announced Wednesday morning by the Sun Belt Conference, which finalized schedules for all league members. In that schedule, the Bobcats will host six home games at Bobcat Stadium featuring games against a new foe, an I-35 Maroon-Orange rivalry rematch and the defending Sun Belt Conference champion. The schedule also includes a Thursday night contest on ESPNU.
Texas State opens the 2017 campaign with three of its first four games in Bobcat Stadium. The Bobcats play a new intrastate team when they open the season against Houston Baptist on September 2.
