NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference Championship bracket was released by the league office Sunday night. Texas State will be the No. 1 seed for the second consecutive year after a 14-2 record in conference play. The tournament begins Thursday, Nov. 21 that will feature seven matches, including the tournament championship match at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24 at Strahan Arena. The tournament champion will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Below are the team seedings and the tournament schedule. One tiebreaker was used, making Troy the No. 5 seed over Louisiana by virtue of its 3-1 win over the Ragin' Cajuns Oct.
