DESTIN, Fla. – The Texas State men's golf team put together another strong performance in the second round of the Sun Belt Conference Championship on Tuesday at the Raven Golf Club to sit in third place. For the day, the Bobcats fired a 3-under par 281 and are 1-over, 569 for the tournament.
Leading the charge was freshman Chase Ambrose with a 67 (-4), tying his career-low for a round. The Katy, Texas native opened with two birdies and seven pars through the first nine holes. He then carded three straight birdies to begin the back nine.
