SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State track and field teams put together strong performances this weekend at the Bobcat Invitational held at the Bobcat Track & Field Stadium and the Texas Relays up in Austin. The teams combined to produce 26 top 10 Sun Belt Conference performances.
Joseph Meade had a big performance in the 5000-meter run at the Texas Relays. The Round Rock, Texas native ran a personal best 14:23.55 to take fifth at Mike A. Myers Stadium. His time leads the conference by 12 seconds while also ranking second all-time in program history.
