FAIRFAX, Va. – The Texas State track and field teams got off to a strong start for the indoor season at the Father Diamond Invitational held at the Field House on the campus of George Mason. The teams combined to record 33 top six finishes.
Standing out on the women's side was Live Hilton. The freshman from Fana, Norway won the long jump competition with a leap of 5.89m (19-4) that also leads the Sun Belt Conference. She posted a 7.80 in the finals of the 60m dash and concluded the day competing on the 4x400m relay.
