BATON ROUGE, La. – The Texas State soccer team recorded a strong defensive effort Sunday afternoon in a 2-0 loss to LSU at the Tiger Soccer Stadium. The Bobcats combined to record 12 saves on the day, tying for the fourth most in program history in a match.
With the loss, Texas State drops to 1-3-0 on the season while the Tigers are now 2-1-0.
Kaylee Davis recorded TXST's first shot of the match in the eight minute when she attempted to head a cross from Ally Kewish. The ball, however, went wide of the left post for a goal kick.
