DALLAS – On Friday, Texas State's Tristan Stivors was named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-America First Team. It is his third first team All-America selection this year after also being tabbed to the top squad by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and the NCBWA.
Stivors is the fourth Bobcat to be recognized to an All-America team by the ABCA and the first since 2011. He joins Paul Goldschmidt (2009), Kane Holbrooks (2009) and Casey Kalenkosky (2011) on the list.
This season Stivors leads the nation with 18 saves. His total set a new team season record and tied the Sun Belt Conference mark.
