SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State seniors Tristan Stivors and Dalton Shuffield were named Collegiate Baseball All-Americans on Thursday. Stivors was chosen to the first team, the first Bobcat to earn top team honors by any publication in team history, and Shuffield was selected to the second team.
For just the third time in program history has TXST had two All-Americans in the same year. The 2009 team saw Kane Holbrooks and Paul Goldschmidt earn the honors and in 2011, Casey Kalenkosky and Carson Smith picked up the accolades.
