SAN MARCOS, Texas – In the latest States Up podcast, Texas State football offensive coordinator Mack Leftwich, who joined the program in mid-December, talks about his transition from down the road to Texas State and what fans can look for in the new-look Bobcat offense in 2023.
A former college quarterback at UTEP, Leftwich arrives in San Marcos with a coach mindset ingrained in him – his dad was a football coach for 30 years – while also a fresh look at it all – he is 28 years old. Despite the seasoned youthful experience, Leftwich has already left a mark on the game as he coached three different All-Americans in his time at UIW.
