SAN MARCOS, Texas - In the latest episode of the States Up podcast, Texas State track and field's shares his story going from wanting to be a football player to Sun Belt champion in track.
Yancy, in his first year after transferring to Texas State last summer, won the 400 meter and 4x400 meter relay championships at the conference meet in May. But he and 19 other Bobcats are qualified and set for the NCAA West Prelims in Fayetteville, Ark. and looking to advance to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. in mid-June.
