SAN MARCOS, Texas – In the latest States Up podcast, Texas State baseball's Jose Gonzales discusses last season's historic season that ended in the regional final at Stanford as well as what to look for this season coming off a successful campaign.
From Spring, Texas, Gonzales was an All-Sun Belt Second Team honoree in 2022 after hitting .298 with 14 doubles and 13 home runs. The outfielder, who made 44 starts in left field, also drove in a team-high 60 RBI and drew 38 walks.
Gonzales was a face of the Bobcat baseball team that many across the nation grew to know a year ago.
