WACO, TX — Due to unfavorable weather conditions in and around the Waco area Tuesday night, Texas State's softball game at Baylor has been canceled.
Texas State (21-17, 7-8) will return to the softball diamond on Thursday, April 14, when the Bobcats open up a three-game conference series against Georgia State at 6 p.m. CT. The two teams will play, again, on Friday, April 15 at 2 p.m. CT, before wrapping up the series on Saturday, April 16 at 11 a.m. CT.
This weekend's series will mark the first trip to San Marcos for the Georgia State softball program since March 2019, when the Bobcats swept the Panthers (5-0, 4-3, 6-0) on Friday, March 29, Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31, respectively.
