CONWAY, S.C. — With its mid-week contest against the University of Texas now in the rearview mirror, the Texas State softball program hit the road for its first Sun Belt series away from San Marcos when the Bobcats play Coastal Carolina in South Carolina over the next three days.
When the three-game series starts at 4 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. ET on Friday, March 25, it'll mark the first softball game for Texas State against Coastal Carolina in Conway since Sunday, April 14, 2019, when the Chanticleers won, 12-2, in five innings. Texas State will be looking for its first win in Conway over Coastal Carolina since winning 5-3 on Friday, April 12, 2019, behind a seven-inning pitching performance from then-sophomore Meagan King.
