SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State softball will continue its slate of non-conference games at home this week as the team hosts the Bobcat Tournament inside Bobcat Softball Stadium.
The Bobcats tournament will start on Thursday which runs through Sunday. Texas State will host SFA, Fordham, St. Thomas and New Mexico in this tournament, playing six games in the process.
Texas State, which is coming off a 47-win campaign and NCAA tournament appearance, was selected first in the Sun Belt Preseason Coaches' Poll and is receiving votes in the national polls.
The Bobcats open the season with 16 straight home games, having played four already in the opening weekend of the season.
