SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Texas State softball run-ruled the UTSA Roadrunners in a midweek game on Wednesday evening. After scoring nine runs in the second inning alone, the Bobcats would shutout the Roadrunners in a 15-0 win.
The Bobcats started out hot after Hannah Earls, who lead off for the Bobcats for the first time this season, was walked. Ciara Trahan reached on a fielder's choice as the next batter up. Sara Vanderford would be the third to bat for the Bobcats and she'd send out a bomb to left field for her fourth home run of the season, good for two RBI.
