SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State softball will continue its slate of non-conference games at home this week as the team hosts the San Marcos Classic inside Bobcat Softball Stadium.
The tournament will start on Saturday and play through Monday. Texas State will host Kansas and SIU this tournament, playing four games, two against each.
Texas State, which is coming off a 47-win campaign and NCAA tournament appearance, was selected first in the Sun Belt Preseason Coaches' Poll.
Texas State enters the week with an 8-2 record after winning all six of its games last weekend in the Bobcat Tournament.
