SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State softball dropped both games of day three of the TXST Tournament to Texas Tech and Tulsa by 4-1 and 3-1 score lines. Both games were results of single innings being the downfall for the Bobcats, as the 7th versus Texas Tech and 4th versus Tulsa were the only innings the opponents scored runs.
In the Bobcats loss to Texas Tech, the Bobcats played a clean first six innings and got themselves into trouble in the 7th. After an RBI single from Ciara Trahan gave the Bobcats a lead headed into the 7th, the team gave up four runs in the top of 7 in the loss.
