Boone, NC – Texas State softball notched its first road win of conference play in its Friday evening game with App State. A come-from-behind 4-3 victory with the winning run in the seventh inning is what it would take for the Bobcats to open their three-game series with a win.
After giving up a 2 RBI home run in the first inning, the Bobcats brought back a run in the second inning. scored off Bass' ground out after her double to get on base. From there, the Bobcats kept fighting back for a win.
