SAN MARCOS, Texas – Head coach Ricci Woodard and the Texas State softball team announce the signing of Sierra Steimel. Steimel, a native of Chandler, Ariz., will join the Bobcats next year as a junior as she competed at Phoenix College her first two seasons. The Bobcats will look for her to see time in the outfield as well as time behind the plate.
"We can't wait to see the elements that Sierra is going to add to the roster next year," said Woodard. "She can hit with power or she can use her speed to get on the base path.
