SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State softball, fresh off its second consecutive NCAA Regional appearance, has added three student-athletes to its 2017 recruiting class, announced head coach Ricci Woodard. Outfielder Mari Cranek (Alabama), infielder Hailey MacKay (Arkansas) and utility player Kourtney Pock (South Mountain Community College) have all elected to transfer to Texas State and will join the Bobcats on the field in the fall.
"These three athletes can play multiple positions which will give us a lot of depth on the field and at the plate," said Woodard. "The experience they bring will be a big asset to our program.
