SAN MARCOS, Texas – Entering the Sun Belt Tournament as the No. 2 seed, the Texas State soccer team will face No. 7 Coastal Carolina in the quarterfinal match. The contest will kickoff at 4 p.m. at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex.
The Bobcats concluded the regular season with a 10-5-1 record and 8-2-0 in conference play while the Chanticleers are 9-7-1 overall and 4-5-1 in the SBC.
Leading the way for TXST are five first team all-conference selections. Rachel Grout leads the team with eight goals and 19 points. Her and Kassi Hormuth have both been credited with a team-high six assists.
