SAN MARCOS, Texas – The 19th season of Texas State soccer began on Thursday as the team held its first official practice in preparation for the 2017 season.
"Coming out of the first morning practice they looked great with great energy," said head coach Kat Conner. "We had good leadership from the vets. I am really proud of them as they aren't being just good role models but also being vocal role models. A lot of them empowered, encouraged and directed their teammates."
The Bobcats reported on Wednesday and attended required meetings and met the staff members that will be working with the team.
