JONESBORO, Ark. – Fifth year senior finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season Saturday afternoon. However, Texas State fell 67-60 to Arkansas State in the First National Bank Arena.
With the loss, the Bobcats are now 12-5 on the season and 3-2 in the Sun Belt Conference while the Red Wolves improve to 13-4 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
ASU knocked down first two shots of the game for a 5-2 lead. Texas State followed by holding the hosts to just one made field goal over their next seven attempts to go on a 12-3 run that spanned 6:43.
