NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference handed out its postseason awards on Tuesday with Texas State leading the way with seven all-conference selections and picking up four of the six specialty awards. Highlighting the awards was Kaylee Davis, who took home both the Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year accolades.
Davis is the second Bobcat to be named the Sun Belt's Player of the Year, joining 2015's award winner Lynsey Curry. The junior forward is also the second straight TXST player to be selected as the conference's Offensive Player of the Year.
