SAN MARCOS, Texas– Texas State men's basketball interim head coach Terrence Johnson added associate head coach Bennie Seltzer to his staff announced Tuesday.
"We are excited to have Bennie [Seltzer] join us," said coach Johnson. "I have known him for over 20 years and he is passionate and very experienced on the defensive side of the ball. His addition will keep us at the level we have been competing at in the last five years."
Seltzer comes from the University of Evansville men's basketball program where he was hired in August of 2019 and prior to that spent two seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater – Washington State.
