CONWAY, S.C. – In its first road Sun Belt Conference game of the season, Texas State (7-7, 0-3 SBC) led by 10 points early in the third quarter against Coastal Carolina, but fell 75-67 at the HTC Center in Conway on Thursday night. The Chanticleers (12-2, 2-1 SBC) were held to a season-low five points in the second quarter but posted 52 points in the second half.
Senior guard Brooke Holle scored 13 points and connected on a trio of three-point field goals to move into a tie for 10th place alongside Raven Burns (2012-16) in the school record book with her 117th career triple.
